What is Connections?

Connections is a daily word game from the New York Times where you have to find the common thread between four words. Each puzzle has 16 words, divided into four color-coded categories:

  • Yellow (easiest)
  • Green
  • Blue
  • Purple (hardest)

How to Play

  1. Group the words: Find the four words that share a common connection.
  2. Remove words: If you get all four words in a category correct, they’re removed from the board.
  3. Make mistakes: You get up to four mistakes before the game ends.
  4. Rearrange the board: Shuffle the words to make it easier to spot connections.
