Xiaomi showcased its new electric car, the SU7 Max EV, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. This is Xiaomi’s first entry into the automotive industry, and they’ve made a grand entrance with a sporty car that rivals the Tesla Model 3.

Impressive Performance

The SU7 Max boasts impressive specs, with 673 horsepower and peak torque of 838nm. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds, making it faster than most cars and even faster than the most powerful version of the Tesla Model 3.

Design Inspired by Competitors

The SU7 takes design cues from various competitors, including the Tesla Model 3, Porsche Taycan, and Polestar. However, it has its own unique character, with a sloping roofline that helps achieve a drag coefficient of just 0.195. The electric blue color and sporty touches, such as the Brembo yellow brake calipers, add to its appeal.

Limited Information

Xiaomi didn’t reveal much new information about the SU7, such as its release date or price. They did mention that the car will integrate with their smart device ecosystem, called “Human x Car x Home,” but details about this integration are still scarce.

Despite the lack of information, the SU7 Max EV has certainly made a stunning impression at Mobile World Congress. For more updates from the event, check out DoTechBetter’s coverage.
